We are seeking a compassionate and dedicated Vision Therapist to join our expanding and dynamic team. Qualifications

  • Associate degree or bachelor's degree preferred but not required
  • Previous experience in teaching, working with children, special education, care giving and/or medical rehabilitation is valuable, but not required
  • Must train towards certification of vision therapy and rehabilitation
  • Strong desire to understand visual processing disorders and therapy techniques
  • Excellent communication and interpersonal skills
  • Self-motivated and detail orientated
  • Positive and engaging personality


Key Responsibilities:

  • Provide one-on-one therapy sessions for patients diagnosed with visual processing or binocular vision disorders of all ages
  • Learn & utilize specialized equipment and therapeutic techniques to improve visual skills like eye teaming, depth perception, focusing, and tracking
  • Monitor patient’s progress and adjust treatment plans as necessary with the supervising optometrist
  • Educate patients and their families
  • Maintain accurate and detailed patient records, billing and reports in a timely manner
  • Collaborate with optometrists, other healthcare professionals, teachers and care givers to ensure comprehensive care
  • Handle phone and electronic communication with patients and other providers, including answering inquiries vis phone and email, scheduling and payments as well other tasks assigned
